The hours dedicated to art and technology education are also included during the study of other subjects and are structured as workshops, in order to favor the development of creative and operational skills through practical activities and encounters with specialized teachers.

During the hours dedicated to art education, the students are encouraged to the observe reality to gain more knowledge about the significant works of art. This is done by letting the student practically and personally experience the art of drawing and also by having them reinterpret what they’ve learned by experimenting different artistic techniques.

Drawing is an extension of one’s thought because it provides space for reflection. It becomes, thus, a tool to discover reality: we draw what we see. In the classroom, topics and activities are carried out based on the effective experiences the students have while studying all subjects. The approach of the curriculum is based on showing the students how science and technology, together with imagination, make the realization of a certain project possible. The work is aimed at helping the students become aware of the materials they have, in order to observe and reproduce reality using technical language and to apply the acquired method in new contexts as well.
